Needed a car, GreenGo worked out

So, I needed a car for a few hours last weekend to run some errands and figured I'd try GreenGo. Heard about it from a friend. The app was pretty easy to get going with, and I found a car nearby no problem. Drove a little e-up!, it was totally fine for zipping around town. Parking it at the end was simple enough. Most of the time they're fine, especially the e-ups. Sometimes you might have to check a couple on the map to find one with enough charge if you're planning a longer trip out of the zone, but for short hops it's usually not an issue.

They have a pretty decent fleet, I haven't had major issues. The app shows the battery level so you can pick one that's good to go. Charging them yourself is pretty straightforward too if you ever need to.

GreenGo usually has better availability in my experience, especially with the e-ups. I find their app a bit more user-friendly too. Limo has more car types sometimes, but for just getting from A to B, GreenGo is usually my pick.

I've used both. GreenGo is strictly electric, which is cool. Limo has some petrol cars too. Pricing can be similar, depends on your usage pattern. Definitely check their service zones, as one might cover your usual areas better than the other.

You have to park within their service zone, which is pretty wide across Budapest. And it needs to be a legal parking spot, obviously. No need to pay for parking within the zone though, they cover that.

Yeah, just make sure it's in the green zone on the app map when you end your rental. Don't park it somewhere stupid, you'll get a fine or something. I've heard stories about people leaving them in weird spots.

Is it worth getting GreenGo Plus or Pro if I use it pretty often? Or is the Lite package good enough for most people?

Depends on how much you drive. If you're using it almost daily for commutes, the Plus or Pro can definitely save you money. But for occasional use, Lite is perfectly fine. The per-minute rate difference adds up if you're doing a lot of trips.

I just stick with Lite. I don't use it enough to justify the monthly fee for Plus, but if I was using it to get to work every day, I'd probably upgrade. You can always start with Lite and switch later, I think.
